ROBOTSAN, established in 2006, is an R&D company which has specialized in the design and production of hardware and software in order to promote teacher and students’ hands-on activities in education through robotics and mechatronics applications.
Robotsan will be the designer of IOP named EuroSim in the project, which aims at increasing algorithmic thinking skills of students in STEAM fields. Online platform will be prepared by Robotsan with the help of Kaunas University of Technology which is working on STEM teaching programs. This online platform will be initially focused on Robotic courses and design generation process to enable the transfer of Math and Science skills into real life problems in online platform. In time, the contents will be enlarged to 3D, augmented reality and their transdisciplinary implementation in lessons. Robotsan within WP4 will develop an online module where students and teacher can practice their Math, Science, Art and ICT skills together, based on robotic design. During the design process of the project ideas, it was thought that it would be necessary to use “a simulation environment” that is open to mutual interaction and supporting education in order to support the effect and positive results of the studies on the internet. For this purpose, the integration of “EuroSim” software in a 3D working environment which can work in full compliance with “iDea” in robotics algorithm software will be carried out by WP4 leader Robotsan, the new platform for this project will be EuroSim and it will be designed according to all educational outputs of this project.
