METU, founded in 1956, is an international research university, which seeks excellence in serving the country & the world. It is the first Turkish university built on a self-sustaining campus and using English as the language of instruction from the very beginning. As a comprehensive university, it offers 41 undergraduate programs in 5 faculties and 175 MS programs. It is the only university in Turkey to enter the top 100 in the World University Rankings. In the current project, METU will be responsible for developing scenarios for K-12 learning and teachers’ professional development in robotics literacy and algorithmic thinking.
